And The Winner is...

I don't have my foot in the door and i've already won two awards.

On Thursday November 5th 2009 at Studio 1 in Toronto, Applied Arts Magazine had an exhibit for the winners of there design annuals. My Intern work with Terry Lau of Beehive Design won and was displayed on page 199. It was not only an honor winning that, but being mentioned on the same page as seasoned designer Sagemeister was an honor too!!!

Anyways it's in the December Issue. check it out.

Urhm, About that...

I've been busy, taking care of my family to getting sick to dealing with working and finding a job; I've been neglecting you. I apologize.

Next Wednesday I am fortunate to meet with the people of Endeavor Marketing and on Thursday I will be attending The Applied Arts Winners Exhibition 2009. I believe but am not 100% that a design myself and a friend (Terry Lau of Beehive Design) designed will be there, but again not 100.

Thanks hopefully November I will post more.

Howdy...

Haven't talked to you in a while... I've been busy putting finishing touches on a friends site... I am not posting a link to it because it's one of those jobs where they wanted things just ripped straight from other websites... so not my proudest work but it's money... anyways, got a job designing business cards for a guy who runs a Jiu Jitsu class in the area not good work just copy and paste but again money... ALSO going to see KISS tomorrow night in Concert... but tonight have to set up there stage and what not... So i will talk to you when i get out of my coma of work.

Inspiration

I know a lot of you look at other design for inspiration and i appreciate that thought... BUT, i can't and won't, i think it's better to get inspiration from an outside source.. Music, Movies what not, i've been a hip hop fan for a long time, but i've started to listen to Rock a lot more, Like The Beatles. Great stuff to get inspiration from... If anyone starts to read the shit i post, comment on where you get your inspirations from, im curious.

I realize that it's not Monday morning, but i am suppose to be hearing from a Client but as usual she's late... Speak on it if you know the hassle these clients give.

Everybody's Living for the Weekend

Don't expect many posts on weekends, I have kind of a social life as well as a son, so I have to dedicate my weekends to those things. Sorry :D

I have created some what of a typeface based on Russian Propaganda with a futuristic twist maybe... anyways, if anyone knows a good FREE program to actually put the typeface together leave me an email or a comment or tweet me or facebook me... *exasperated breathe*... I woke up feeling bright eyed and all that fun stuff. Today gotta fix up my old site with new stuff. Got to work on another website for an older lady i tutored during college, and then i can enjoy my friend hopefully with some friends and a fistful of dollars... we will see. No pictures yet sorry.
